About Me

There is an African proverb, which states that it takes a village to raise a child. This resonates with me not only in my work with children but also in aiding their families to see and meet their greatest potential.

I graduated as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Witwatersrand. Consequently I completed my community service year at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital (formerly known as Johannesburg General Hospital), where I was fortunate enough to work in the paediatric section. This gave me the opportunity to not only enhance my knowledge and skill but also reaffirm my passion for working with the paediatric population (babies - teenage years).

I currently work at a special needs school, as well as running a private practice in Norwood.

I provide occupational therapy assessments and treatment for children who present with the following:

  • Learning difficulties and school related problems
  • Developmental Delay
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Downs Syndrome
  • Sensory Integration and related issues
  • Autism

I am constantly expanding my knowledge and I value the importance of furthering my skills and expertise in a variety of areas.
